it converts the navi to a dvd player, it is a plug and play kit no wires have to be cut.

I surely understand the hesitation because I definitely had plenty of questions upfront too. I’ve had the system since October and it has yet to fail me (knock on wood), and continues to keep me and my passengers entertained while we ride the CL. The system is as advertised, tv tuner, and 3 inputs for whatever you want to hook up to it. You use a switch to go between the video input and the nav screen, while the nav continues to operate behind the scenes (no los. A remote control allows you to switch between inputs and tv channels. For example on a recent road trip, while my girl was behind the wheel I was watching a movie while the nav voice would still indicate when we needed to exit or turn…I had an excellent installer: To Unplug - Installer: Nick (215) 802-4619 - Tell him HH from Boston sent you and he will take care of you. What I really like about it is that you can’t tell the system is installed until you turn it on or see your video source(i.e dvd player or game system), so its doesn’t draw extra attention. And of course something not in our control, who wouldn’t wish our screen was bigger, but we always can’t have everything. The AV system is tight, I am satisfied with the results, and would recommend it to anyone looking to do the Mod.
