Hello fellow 3G TL owners. I bought my '05 TL in March of 09 with around 67k miles on it. I believe most of the parts are originals, so most of it is burning out. Anyway I'm just wondering what parts are easy to replace on my own and which I need to take in for service.

1. Back brakes. Last time I had it in for service they told me they're probably good until next service. Well they're pretty squeaky now so I'm gonna have them replaced this month. Unless it's easy to do myself. Although I used to own a '95 Legend and tried doing the brakes on those myself and ended up stripping a crucial bolt, so I'll probably have a shop do this anyway.

2. Parking light bulb. The passenger side front bulb is out. I know to change the head lights you have to get into the wheel well which for me is kind of a pain.

3. Lots of various panel button illumination lights are out. This is more of an annoyance for me, nothing crucial. I just hate not being able to see certain buttons at night when I want to change the temperature or switch radio modes.

Actually now that I typed all this out it seems like I'd just end up taking it in to a shop lol. I don't know though, if anyone can give me estimates on this stuff it will help me decide.

Thanks.
:wish:

No curb rash but a few light scratches -- nothing past the clear coat (will provide photos). Can be powered coated to make new for very little. Would make a nice winter set! Tires have 33k highway miles on them. Would consider selling individually for those looking for full size spares.
Here's what the wheels look like:

Ok some of you have shown interest in a twisty country run. Well I wanted to run by you guys this date. 9-25 same day as pz meet

All groups are expected to be at the meeting location by no later than 7:30am fueled and ready to go. We will have a brief drivers meeting and a few directions will be handed out. The first car will leave the parking lot at 8:00am. This is early but is important so that we miss the slow traffic.

The meeting location has a gas station and a McDonalds to allow both of your tanks to fill up if you arrive early.

We will run the roads around Anderson, to the lunch meeting point after we will be doing the run in reverse or else we will have a alternative run that will take us to Tomball. Either way you can expect some nice sweeping curves to test your tread.

ill post more info if interest is shown. let me knew guys

Is there a way to randomize the Photo Gallery section at the top of the page so that it doesn't attempt to use every slot for a single user if that user has enough images to fill every slot?

I find that many times I see the same pictures over and over again, probably because not that many people are making use of the Galleries yet. Even so, it'd be nice if each slot was a little more random by forcing it to fill each slot with a picture from a different member. As people add more galleries, it will certainly showcase more galleries, and bring more traffic to everyone's galleries.
